Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana Review: Hamein Itni Khushi Kabhi Nahin Hui

Star Cast: Rajkumar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda Director: Ratna Sinha Story Line: The story is about a typical set up of an arranged marriage in India, only with a twist of a Runaway Bride and a Unhappy Groom. Our Rating: 3/5 It’s a story in which the character of Kriti(The Bride) comes as a strong character, who runs away from her own wedding to live a life which allows her to have a great career. Even though she falls in love with Rajkumar Rao (the Groom) in the traditional arrange marriage set up and feels really bad about leaving him in such a situation, she prioritizes her work over being subdued in the hindu wedding set up, fights against dowry, and wants to live a life for herself. The story takes a turn when Rajkumar and Kriti meet again, after kriti is quite successful in her career, still ends up crying in most of the second half. When is comes to the performance of the lead actors in the movie, Rajkumar Rao is as good as always, but Kriti has performed much better than her other movies. The plot of the movie is good, but the complete justice to the script is lacking. The songs of the movie as also not that great. The best song, the song that was worth the wait, Pallo Latke, came at the movie credits. Overall it is not a must watch movie but definitely a one time watch movie.
